What’s Coming Up in 2018?

Welcome to the new year everyone! I’ve already talked about my goals for this year, but I figured I should follow up with a release schedule. It’s always good to know what’s coming, and I’ve been bad about this in past years (sorry about that).

Last year, I tried to release something every month. And I did a pretty good job! The only months I missed were October and December, and only because I realized I needed a bit more time to make sure Eternity’s Empire was on track.

My first big announcement is that there will be a Mystical Island Digital Boxset hitting Amazon this Friday, January 19th! Get all three books in the Mystical Island Trilogy in a single click (and for a slight discount)!

I still don’t know when I’ll be able to offer physical boxsets, but I’m keeping an eye out for opportunities in the future. Currently the only way to do this is to buy the books and package them myself but, since I live in Canada, I feel the international shipping costs makes the final price unreasonable.

My next big announcement is that Eternity’s Empire is getting a lot of attention this year! Here’s when to expect the next five chapters:

Chapter 11: February 12th
Chapter 12: April 9th
Chapter 13: June 11th
Chapter 14: August 13th
Chapter 15: October 8th

Remember that each chapter will cost 99 cents, or can be read free if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited. The third book of the Eternity’s Empire Collection will be available on November 12th.

I’ve also been working on a new Newsletter incentive for subscribers this year. Don’t worry; if you already subscribe to my Newsletter, you’ll be the first to receive a download link! The story is called The Paradox Syndrome. It’s a stand-alone sci-fi novelette (about 14,000 words long) set in one of Earth’s possible futures. The only way to acquire this story will be to subscribe to my Newsletter; it was written as a thank-you for those of you who have stuck with me, and those who will be joining me in the future. I’m so excited to share it with everyone!

I have other plans for this year, though some remain quite nebulous at the moment. I would love to bring the Eternity’s Empire Collection to paperback (though I don’t want this to detract from development of new chapters). There may be some other surprises this summer, but I don’t want to give anything away too soon.

In addition, I’ll be providing regular updates on Dreamers Do Lie, which I started querying last October. If there’s any big news, my blog will be the space to watch. Of course, if I don’t see any interest from agents, I’ll have to make some decisions about the book’s future. It’s a nail-biting process, but I’m determined.
